Meet our Founder, Marni Chanoff MD
Dr. Marni Chanoff founded Joy In Health to bridge the gap between emotional and physical well-being, treating each individual as a whole, complex human being.
Her journey into integrative mental health began early:
Fascination with the human body led her to medical school and then psychiatry residency at Harvard.
Yoga practice during training grounded her and sparked a lifelong interest in Eastern healing practices and holistic approaches, including nutrition, Ayurveda, and mind-body therapies.
Dr. Chanoff trained as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor at Kripalu and became a certified culinary coach through Harvard’s Institute of Lifestyle Medicine. By combining Eastern and Western approaches, she helps clients rediscover joy, resilience, and holistic wellness.
